"One eye can't see" — amblyopia
Amblyopia is a disorder in which one eye sees worse, although it looks healthy on the outside.
Normal vision
Amblyopia

The brain "turns off" the weak eye, which slows down the development of vision. It is more often detected in childhood, but it can persist in adults.

Treatment methods
• correction with glasses or lenses;
• visual stimulation;
  • Occlusion (sealing/ dressing)
    • They close their healthy eye for a certain amount of time
    • Makes the lazy eye work
    • It is used according to an individual schedule
    • Hardware treatment;
  • Amblyocore and biofeedback
    • A device that stimulates the visual cortex of the brain through visual and audio signals
    • The brain "learns" to use a weak eye
    • Effective for children and teenagers
  • Light stimulation and accommodation simulators
    • Special lamps or devices put a strain on the "lazy" eye
    • Dynamics control
Why is this critical?
  • Amblyopia develops in children and adolescents
  • The brain gradually stops using one eye.
  • Without supervision, you may not notice the deterioration, and treatment will be less effective.
  • The effectiveness of therapy needs to be monitored
  • The stimulation method or glasses give results only if the eye really "turns on"
  • Regular checks show whether the chosen method works.
  • Timely adjustment of treatment
  • If the dynamics show little progress, the doctor changes the load, the method of stimulation or corrective lenses.
  • This increases the chances of a full restoration of vision.
  • Preventing complications
  • Without control, the eye may remain weak.
The earlier you start, the more likely you are to improve.

Results
